Villa Ivi is situated under the Church of Saint Anargiroi, in the traditional Megalochori Village, just 7 klm from Fira the capital of Santorini Islad.It is an idylic cottage style villa of two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Its architectural elements attract the visitors attention as it is hewn vertically into the volcanic soil. Built areas are roofed by domes, or groin vaults in a kind of mould - cast structure. It is made of Santorini black stone and Terra Theraic (Theraic earth).
The cool, vaulted interiors throughout the villa give a feeling of relaxation and accentuate the earthy energy of the island. The Santorini - Theraic earth has insulating qualities and has proven to be an early example of bioclimatic architecture, keeping rock-hewn houses cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
Villa Ivi and its outdoor Jacuzzi are ideal for both “honeymooners” or a small family who want experience the authentic life of a traditional village in the beautiful Santorini Island.
