Theophano art hotel is ideally located inside Monemvasia Castle right on Chrisafitissa square, one of the rare open spaces inside the traditional settlement, lying in front of the walls that face the sea.



Theophano art hotel is housed in a cluster of five stone buildings, restored with ecological consciousness while preserving existing archeological features. According to old title deeds, the buildings of the hotel, whose history goes back several centuries, once belonged to the family of the poet Yiannis Ritsos. The hotel’s balconies and windows overlook at the sea and the Castle. All its rooms and public spaces are decorated with a collection of hand-picked antique furniture and works of art, offering guests the warmth of a traditional mansion house.



No two rooms are the same at Theophano Art Hotel, making every stay a whole new experience for our guests, no matter how many times they return. Homemade Greek breakfast is served in the spacious dining area whose multiple windows have unobstructed views to the sea. Accommodation is also extended to comfortable stone arched lounches and to a large roof terrace that enjoys panoramic views.



The historical Portelo, an opening in the defensive walls and an ideal location for swimming, is only 20 metres from the hotel.

• The guest can cancel free of charge until 14 days before arrival.
• The guest will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel in the 14 days before arrival, including cases of no-show.

Credit card guarantee is required to secure your reservation. The Hotel will charge the credit card with 100% of the reservation cost after the free cancellation limit expires prior to the guest's arrival.
