Crete, the legendary holiday destination of the Aegean, is also the home of the first civilization in Europe. Oscar Suites & Village is situated just off Chania, arguably the nicest town in Crete and an excellent base from which to discover the rest of this marvellous historical island.

Completely renovated two years ago, with eco -friendly materials and energy efficient facilities, the Oscar Suites& Village is hidden in between colourful gardens and beautiful trees in a traditional building complex which includes two swimming pools and two children pools, two restaurants, a gym and an internet corner. We offer studio suites, one bedroom and two bedroom suites, all with a garden or sea view and a fully equipped kitchenette, for an autonomous stay.

Oscar Suites & Village are just a small walk away from the popular beach and the village of Agia Marina – Platanias. Here you will find shops, tavernas and beach bars as well as a long stretch of sandy beach facing the horizon of the Aegean Sea.

Car rentals, free private parking and airport transfer are available upon request. A bus stop is situated right outside the hotel.

Pools

Take time to relax on either of our two swimming pools, each with a children pool on its side. The internet corner with video games nearby will have younger guests occupied and happy. To keep you cool under the sun, the pool bar offers refreshments and cocktails, as well as snacks for a quick pallet satisfaction in-between laps.

Restaurant

Cretan cuisine is known as one of the healthiest and richest in the world so our restaurant could serve nothing but traditional dishes. All meals are prepared with seasonal products, available from nearby farms or villages. Olive oil plays a prominent role - Crete features over 1.5 million olive trees, and so do wild herbs like sage, oregano and thyme. Cretans prepare fresh vegetables in all imaginable ways as they do with their wide variety of dairy products. A trademark dish is rabbit stew with onions and tomato, cooked in olive oil. Prepare your pallet to accept a culinary feast by drinking raki – the famous, local, grappa like drink, from the remains of grapes. An English type breakfast is served every morning with locally produced eggs, cereal, homemade breads and butter as well as fresh fruits and Cretan sheep yoghurt. Breakfast is served at the restaurant or even delivered in your room upon request, with an additional charge.

In today’s digital world no one can ignore the importance of internet connectivity nor the fact that a lot of you prefer to travel light and free from all the high tech devices that nowadays accompany our every day lives. And so we established our internet corner from which you will have the opportunity to keep your contacts and your work up to date, fill in your social networks with details of your trip or download, print or fax your documents. Upload your photos to your favourite networks, contact your loved ones, manage your work or just browse the net for some last minute travel info. Of course, no Internet spot would be complete without access to a series of the latest computer games.

Policies

Cancellation

In case of cancellation up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
In case of cancellation or modification later than 7 days before date of arrival , 30% of the total stay will be charged.
In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
 

Payment:

Credit card guarantee is required to secure your reservation. Full account settlement upon arrival.
The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.
