La Maltese Estate is located high above sea level overlooking the Caldera in the traditional village of Imerovigli. It offers spectacular views of the sea, the volcano and the famous sunsets. This neoclassic captain's house mansion was originally built in the 19th century and has since been renovated (2005) and converted into a magnificent villa. La Maltese Estate features an impressive, oversized lobby with a formal dining area, a centrally placed piano and a really spacious front veranda, something which is extremely rare amongst Santorini luxury hotels. Exquisite cream upholstered wooden deck chairs and engulfing velour sofas furnish the interior and terrace area whilst large umbrellas provide ample shading.
